The JEE Main result 2020 for Paper 2 was published by the National Testing Agency on January 23. Previously, on January 17, the authorities released the results of Paper I in online mode. The final answer key 2020 (January session) was released on January 17, along with the JEE Main result at jeemain.nic.in, while JEE Main Paper 2’s final solution key was released on January 23. The JEE Main exam dates for April session were issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The test will take place on 5th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 11th April 2020. JEE Main 2020 application form will be available from 7 February to 7 March for the April session. The JEE Main 2020 admit card can be downloaded from March 16 for candidates. JEE Main 2020 will be announced on April 30 for the April session. This will also be the final result in which it will be easier to assign the ranks of JEE Main All India from the two results. Admissions to the 30814 seats offered by 31 NITs, 25 IIITs and 28 CFTIs in B.Tech / B.E., B.Arch and B.Plan programs will be based on the ranks declared in the JEE Main result.

From January 6 to 9, NTA conducted JEE Main 2020 (January session) in computer-based mode at 570 examination centers in 233 cities. Of the 9,21,261 candidates who had enrolled in B.Tech / B.E., a total of 8,69,010 candidates appeared for the exam. On January 13th, the provisional answer key was released offering candidates the opportunity to challenge the same. Candidates applying for B.Tech must appear for JEE Main 2020 Paper-I, while candidates applying for admission to B.Arch / B.Plan must appear for JEE Main Paper-II.

States such as Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Nagaland, as well as many other private universities and institutes, use JEE Main ranks for admissions, with different eligibility criteria.

JEE MAIN RESULT 2020:

JEE Main 2020 Paper 2 result was announced by NTA in online mode on January 23 at jeemain.nta.nic.in and results.nic.in. Previously the authorities only published the JEE Key Paper 1 result on January 23. The result is yet to be announced for Paper 2. The result will be declared for the April Session by April 30. Candidates will have to sign in to access their scorecard using application number and date of birth. To ensure equivalence in all shifts ‘ difficulty levels, the specified NTA standardization method will be used to achieve the uniform score for each of the three subjects and the total score to be declared in the JEE Main result.

JEE Main’s final result will be announced on April 30 where the scores of both the attempts or a single attempt will be published along with the rank assigned to the two scores on the higher. JEE Key 2020 Paper 1 and Paper 2 end results will be published separately.
